Soraya Mejia-Rosales

KIPP Nashville

Soraya Mejia Rosales is a senior at KIPP Nashville Collegiate High School. Soraya will be attending Washington University in St. Louis, where she will be majoring in accounting to use her degree and then assist her community with financial literacy. Her commitment to financial literacy led her to participate in Rock the Street, Wall Street, an economic and investment literacy program designed to bring gender and racial equity to financial markets. In addition, Soraya held various leadership roles throughout her time at KIPP Nashville Collegiate, where she was the Class Representative for three years, Captain of the Varsity Soccer team for two years, Founder of the Community Service Club, and the President of the first Hispanic Organization Promoting Education (HoPe) chapter in Tennessee.
