Fanta Kante

KIPP NYC Public Schools

Fanta Kante is a senior at KIPP NYC College Prep High School and plans to pursue a bachelor’s in biological sciences at New York University’s College of Arts and Sciences. As a student in the Bioforce program at Columbia University, Fanta studied the racial disparity in breast cancer treatment in New York City and learned computer science with the Code Next program at Google. She is passionate about giving back to her community through her work with non-profits to teach young girls about computer engineering.
