Cynthia Resendiz

Cynthia Resendiz earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and Master of Science in health & human performance from Sul Ross State University. After working in the nonprofit healthcare sector, she quickly developed a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life for so many families and further reinforced the need to advance health equity among communities of color. While working in Federally Qualified Health Centers, she found her true calling, marketing, which ultimately led her to further pursue her education and receive a digital marketing certification from Rice University. Cynthia currently is the marketing and sales associate at Baylor College of Medicine where she leads digital marketing efforts. She hopes to become a healthcare leader to further advance health equity. Cynthia is a board member of the Houston Hispanic Health Coalition, volunteers at the Children’s Houston Museum, and serves on the marketing committee for L.I.F.E. Houston.
