KIPP DC Public Charter Schools celebrate 25 years

A D.C. charter school that started out in the basement of a church 25 years ago now has 20 schools across the city and has seen tens of thousands of students pass through its doors. News4’s Mark Segraves spoke to the founder of KIPP public charter schools outside the now boarded up church where it all began.
