Commanders launch new after school program

KIPP DC and the Washington Commanders have teamed up to launch the Washington Commanders Junior Academy pilot program right here at our very own Smilow Campus.

This first-of-its-kind academy will bring athletic excellence not only through sports, but in harnessing team-building skills and confidence among our students. Additional resources offered by the new academy include tutoring in math and reading subjects as well as dinner provided for students three times a week.
