Yumna Ali
KIPP Colorado Schools
Yumna Ali is a graduate of KIPP Northeast Denver Leadership Academy. She is passionate about thinking outside of the box to solve world problems, which led her to be one of the top three high-school winners recognized by the KIPP Foundation for her letter to Vice President Kamala Harris about religious discrimination. Her passion for making an impact and advocating for women, girls, and minority groups has been demonstrated through her work with Girls Inc. of Metro Denver as a Social Media Ambassador and Transformational Leadership Board Member and receiving the Helen McLoraine Teen Leadership Scholarship with Girls Inc. and has joined Denver International Airport’s Global Communications and Marketing office as part of a three-year apprenticeship. Outside her leadership roles, Yumna spreads her passion to others by being an inspirational TEDx speaker.
