KIPP Colorado Schools

Junee is a KIPP Northeast Denver Leadership Academy alumna intending to major in electrical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. She has expressed her love for science and technology through her summer internship at Denver Botanic Gardens and involvement in extracurriculars such as Girls Who Code and STEM Club. While upholding high academics, Junee spends her free time creating digital and traditional art or playing the piano. In the past, her family has occasionally offered their house as a host home to assist those with cognitive and/or physical disabilities, exposing her to people of many backgrounds and diverse situations. She aspires to use her education in the future to create affordable electronics that can be utilized in every household, along with making STEM education more accessible to underprivileged communities.
