Dulce Negreros

Dulce_Negreros - Fisher Fellow 2019-20

Dulce Negreros will be a founding principal at KIPP Texas Public Schools – Houston in the 2020–2021 school year. Dulce is currently the 12th grade assistant principal at KIPP Northeast College Prep (KNCP) in Houston. Before joining the team at KNCP, she spent 3 years at KIPP Houston High School where she served as the dean of culture, science department chair, and assistant principal and 3 years at KIPP Austin Collegiate, where she taught biology and AP biology and also served on the leadership team as an assistant principal. Dulce’s passion for education started during her two years as a Teach For America corps member at Sharpstown High School in Houston Independent School District. Dulce is excited to move into her 7th year at KIPP and 9th year in education. She graduated with a degree in neurobiology from The University of Texas at Austin and a masters in administration and supervision from the University of Houston. Outside of school, Dulce enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her loved ones. She is excited to start her journey as a Fisher Fellow!
