Annika Therese-Braceros

KIPP Northern California Public Schools

Annika Braceros is a KIPP Heritage Academy alumna, and former KIPP Navigate College Prep student. Being the only child of a single immigrant mother, she was raised strongly believing in giving back to her community; her family values led her to volunteer at a local elementary school and library. When Annika is not serving her community, she exercises her love for reading and folding cranes (she has folded well over 3,000!) from origami papers to chocolate and straw wrappers. She plans to major in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology at Yale University, and further explore intersectionality in the medical field to help make healthcare more accessible and inclusive.
