Victoria Bennett, 2016-17

Victoria is a proud member of the Pride of 2009, the first graduating class from the peanut fields of KIPP Gaston. She was honored to be a member of the prestigious cohorts of both the Robertson Scholars and the Michael & Susan Dell Scholars. She received her BA in Sociology with a minor in Social & Economic Justice from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also received a certificate in Child Policy Research from Duke University. She is a recent graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law. She is currently a Legal Communications Specialist with the NC Department of Health & Human Services. She lives her passion for service every single day, as a member of the KIPP ENC Board of Directors. She is the proud parent of Amaya, an inquisitive and energetic 4-year old. Her approach to her career and her life is simple: “Nihil timendum est.” Fear nothing.
