Sharmely Lopez

KIPP NYC Alumna

Sharmely is an alumna of KIPP NYC College Prep High School. She is currently a freshman attending Colorado College. She aspires to volunteer as a Community Youth Worker through the Peace Corps after college and plans on either returning to KIPP as a KIPP Through College Counselor or pursuing a career in journalism. She is passionate about using her voice to make a positive impact on the world. Sharmely is a member of the Robin Hood Teen Council and is Co-Captain of Dreamspeak, her school’s spoken word team.
