Mujaahida is a second-year Master of Public Health candidate at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Her concentration is in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education and she is interested in using research and evidence-based practice to inform health policy, health promotion initiatives, and public health interventions. Mujaahida’s research background is in the social determinants of health, and she is particularly interested in mental and behavioral health research. She is passionate about working with youth and adolescents in minority communities to promote understanding of mental health, reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and promote positive health behaviors.
