Cordelia Elaiho thrives in her intersectionality. With a background that traces three continents and her love of both science and the arts, Cordelia desires to aid in forging a bridge between these siloed industries. A graduate of Vassar College with a B.A. in Biology and minor in Africana Studies, she is used to bringing together different groups of people with varying opinions. After Vassar she conducted prostate cancer research, seeking to understand the complexities of cancer and its racial disparities. She is currently receiving her Master’s in Public Health from Thomas Jefferson University, furthering her understanding that everything is and effects health. Her final project surrounds public service announcements about suicide prevention at baseball games in Pennsylvania. After her studies, she desires to continue changing lives through the lens of preventative medicine. In her spare time, Cordelia enjoys dancing, singing in her church choir, and walking through new places.
