Alexia Umanzor

KIPP Bay Area Public Schools Alumna

Alexia is an alumna of KIPP San Francisco College Preparatory. During her time in high school, she participated in Stanford’s Summer Math and Science Honors program, the Girls in STEM initiative at Columbia University, and her school’s robotics club. Through these activities, Alexia discovered her passion for STEM. She hopes to study computer science and electrical engineering in college, and one day help more women of color and low-income students thrive in STEM. In recognition of Alexia’s accomplishments, she was selected as the “Phoenix of the Year” at her school for exemplifying grit, joy, community, and excellence.
