2011 Doris Fisher KIPPster of the Year Winner

Victor’s determination, drive, and selflessness have touched everyone he meets.  He is always happy to assist others, whether tutoring during study hall or participating in community service with his church youth group.  Meanwhile, he has earned a flawless grade point average, with near perfect scores in all of his classes.  His school leader describes him as “that rare person who measures his success not against the standards of others but against his own bar of excellence.”

In sixth grade , Victor was elected Student Body President, and this past year, he served as the Vice Principal of the second violins in the school orchestra.  You can often find him rehearsing music until late in the evening or helping a fellow orchestra member with a difficult piece of music.  He is always humble and seldom draws attention to his own work – even though it is uniformly excellent.
