When you mention Vive’s name at school, people respond with admiration and genuine respect. She has emerged as a leader – constantly sticking up for what is right, never following the crowd because it is the ‘it’ thing to do, and always looking out for the well-being of others. As student council president, she works with the school staff and her peers to identify and implement programming that is both fun and enriching for students.

In the classroom, Vive works above and beyond the expectation of excellence.  She has emerged as a leader in her classes by organizing peer study groups, working with struggling classmates, and volunteering to express her opinion and answer questions. She is described as having a “zest for learning that is unparalleled.”
