If you want to join a team of dynamic and dedicated teachers at a KIPP school, follow the steps below!

1) Visit our Careers page to view teaching opportunities from around the country.

2) Click on the position title of a listing that interests you and then click "Apply for this job."

You will be asked to register with our KIPP Teach system, where you will create a profile and upload a resume that can be viewed by all KIPP schools. You will then see a full job description and can proceed with the application process. KIPP schools and regions have their own hiring processes; you may be directed to a regional website to complete your application.

Please note: You must have legal authorization to work in the United States in order to apply for a teaching position at a KIPP school.

3) Contact the school or region for information about application status and next steps.

After you submit your application online the remainder of the application process will be handled by the school or region. The application process varies by school, but typical steps might include a phone interview, an in-person interview with the school leader or other staff members, and a sample teaching lesson.

Ensure that you understand the Five Pillars and what makes the KIPP teaching environment unique. Read what the press has said about KIPP, and be prepared to ask us questions you have about KIPP schools. Visit About KIPP to learn more about KIPP's history, results, and plans for growth and sustainability.

Visit a KIPP school: The best way to understand KIPP is to visit a KIPP school. Many of our schools host open houses and other events for educators throughout the year, so please contact the school you are interested in to ask about upcoming events or arrange another time to visit. Since each school is unique, visiting multiple schools in a region of interest may be advisable. We are happy to have visitors at our schools! Use the School Directory to locate the closest school to visit.  

Demonstrate Your Commitment: After researching KIPP, ask yourself if you are truly committed to doing whatever it takes to prepare all students for success in college and the world beyond. Be prepared to demonstrate that commitment in a phone conversation with a KIPP talent recruiter.
