School Leaders

A growing number of passionate, committed educators are stepping up to an important challenge. They are tapping their entrepreneurial spirit to open and/or run KIPP public charter schools in underserved communities that will help students climb the mountain to college.

KIPP school leaders have the qualities needed to ensure their schools operate smoothly and efficiently, and the foresight to guide their teachers and staff in creating an innovative learning environment. Although each KIPP school leader is given the power to lead in his or her particular school, all of our leaders share an ultimate goal of closing the achievement gap among students from low-income communities and proving that all students CAN and WILL learn.
