KIPP Montbello College Prep will open in the fall of 2011 with a founding class of 110 5th grade students. We will be located in the Rachel B. Noel building at 5290 Kittredge Street. KIPP has been serving students in southwest Denver for nearly a decade, and we’re excited to begin serving students in the far northeast with our third KIPP school in Denver.
KIPP Montbello College Prep is a community of students, parents, and educators whose teamwork, courageous action, and determination ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills, and character traits needed to succeed in top-quality high schools, colleges, and the competitive world beyond in order to lead lives of choice and opportunity.
Volunteer/Support: As a network of public charter schools, KIPP schools receive the majority of their funds from state and federal governments. However, KIPP offers much more than traditional schools, including an extended school day, week and year, field trips and extracurricular activities. To provide KIPP’s unique educational program, schools rely on support from community members, parents and local foundations.
