KIPP DC Heights Academy is KIPP DC’s second elementary school located at the Douglass Campus in the Anacostia Community of Washington, DC opening with 1st grade July 2011. We are excited to build upon the strong foundation our students receive from our early childhood school, KIPP DC Discover Academy. We believe a high quality education is life-liberating and ensures our students will always climb to new heights.
KIPP DC Heights Academy Elementary is a community of learners and leaders empowered to improve every day. Student success is achieved with a balanced, rigorous focus on academics and character. We aim to develop successful thinkers and learners who will return as college-educated leaders of their community.
