KIPP Austin Collegiate serves high school students in East Austin who are seeking a rigorous, college-preparatory program. Our high school curriculum and instructional model build on the key elements of our successful middle school, KIPP Austin College Prep, including more time in school, a focus on results, highly qualified and committed teachers, and a school culture that supports learning and success.
KIPP Austin Public Schools will empower underserved students to strengthen the academic skills, intellectual habits, and character traits necessary to thrive in, and graduate from, four-year colleges and universities, giving them the freedom to shape their futures and positively affect their communities.
Support - As a network of public charter schools, KIPP schools receive the majority of their funds from state and federal governments. However, KIPP offers much more than traditional schools, including an extended school day, week and year, field trips and extracurricular activities. To provide KIPP’s unique educational program, schools rely on support from community members, parents and local foundations.
