SAN FRANCISCO, CA – July 6, 2011 – KIPP, the Knowledge Is Power Program, announces that two Memphis educators have been selected to open new KIPP schools in Memphis in 2012. Grace Williams will open KIPP Memphis Collegiate Elementary School and Andrew Bobowski will open KIPP Memphis Collegiate Middle School (South Campus) in the fall of 2012. These two new sites represent the next phase of expansion for KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools (KMCS), which plans to double the number of public charter schools it operates by 2012.
