2009 KIPP Report Card
We are excited to share the 2009 KIPP Report Card, which captures results from KIPP schools across the country. Our seventh annual Report Card is a direct reflection of KIPP’s focus on results and our long-standing commitment to performance transparency. It includes school profiles and student achievement data for 64 (of our soon-to-be 99) KIPP schools with reportable results from the 2008-09 school year, as well as national aggregate data.

New Orleans students find a home at KIPP Houston, and back again after graduation

Danisha Porche left New Orleans with her family after the warnings, during the wind but before the rain. They traveled by bus to Baton Rouge where they lived in a shelter for three weeks. Once her mom located family members in Houston, they made the trip to Houston with a complete stranger who offered to bring them here.
