The Giving Tree and Beyond Z awards
Richard Barth presents the Giving Tree Award KIPP has many outstanding partners that make the work at the Foundation and across the network possible; the Giving Tree and Beyond Z awards recognize such partners.
In 2009, the KIPP Foundation recognized Jodi Aarmodt, Kin Gill, and Jeff Armes with the Beyond Z Award. This award, in the tradition of the Dr. Seuss book, On Beyond Zebra, honors a member or members of the school community who go above and beyond for the benefit of children.
The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation was awarded the Giving Tree Award for its partnership with KIPP. The Giving Tree, by Shel Silverstein, is a tale of unconditional love and generosity. The award that bears its name represents KIPP’s gratitude for the generous and visionary support of our donors.
Thank you to these and each of KIPP’s partners for all that you do.
