The KIPP network is comprised of 125 schools, 23 regional support offices, and the KIPP Foundation. KIPP is always seeking talented individuals to join us in a variety of roles, from classroom teachers and school leaders to functional positions such as Operations or IT.
To apply to work at KIPP, first browse the list of current openings across the KIPP network. When you find opportunities that match your interests, you can create a profile and submit your application through our national KIPP Careers system, which will transmit your application to the hiring organization listed in the job posting. All additional steps in the hiring process will be handled by the individual KIPP school or regional organization to which you apply.

Step 1: Submit online application
If you are a current KIPP employee, discuss this opportunity with your manager before applying.
The final deadline for submitting the online application for the 2013-14 year has passed.
In addition to basic information, the online application includes the submission of a resume, a summary of student achievement results, and two short essays.
After submitting the online application, you will be provided with a form to use to request letters of recommendation from your three professional references, including at least one current or previous manager.
Step 2: Phone interview and recommendation letters due
Candidates who advance to this step will:
- Schedule a 60 minute phone interview with National Recruitment team staff.
- Please note that the KIPP Foundation may begin to contact your references at this point. Again, we highly recommend that you include your current supervisor as one of your references.
Step 3: Regional Interview
Regional interviews are a chance for candidates to meet and interview with regional leadership teams in their preferred region.
The regional interview typically require that you travel to your region for 1 or 2 days; these dates are determined between applicants and their preferred region. The KIPP Foundation will cover the cost of travel and lodging for the regional interview.
All candidates will be observed teaching a lesson during their regional interview.
Step 4: Selection Event
Selection events are three-day interview events held in Houston, TX. The KIPP Foundation will cover the cost of travel and accommodations for candidates.
Step 5: Offers Extended to Candidates
Candidates will be notified within one week by phone regarding the Selection Committee's decision. Candidates who are accepted will receive a contract via email.
Step 6: Offers Accepted or Deferred
Candidates will be required to notify the KIPP Foundation of their acceptance of their offer.
